A Scathing review of Wolverine: X-men Origins!
A review of the Wolverine film and general comments about past X-men films are posted on this website with probably the most scathing comments about the X-men films up to now.
Starting the brief review with, ‘…..continues the downward slide of the X-Men film franchise’, relates the tone of the review to come.
Plot changes from the orginal story, characters’ abilities being glorified, is one thing, but a slating i don’t think is fair, especially for the x-men movies.
Just as when you read a book, novel, etc. and go see the film adaptation, you want to see how the interpretation of the text comes to the screen.
I think even 15 years ago, the X-men films couldn’t have been possible, due to the amount of effects, showing the characters powers to the best, etc., so give it a chance.
