Patrick Stewart, attending a Star Trek convention in Altanta, Georgia, field questions on his return to the X-men film franchise.
Stewart, who had played a young Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, said that audiences have probably not seen the last of the professor. Recently co-starred in a production of ‘Waiting for Godot’ with Ian McKellen, the two agreed that they would like to continue exploring their characters from the X-men films and the relationship between professor Xavier and Ian McKellen’s character Magneto.
This looks more likely as when questioned on a return to Star Trek, Stewart reasponded with,
‘I feel that I have left behind a legacy as Picard,’ he said. ‘In my head and heart, I’ve moved on.’
