It seems the deal has gone through. Disney have bought Marvel Entertainment – $4 billion in cash and stock.

Disney are currently in talks to aquire Marvel and its 5000 characters as stated on the Marvel website.
Is this a good move for Marvel? From a money point of view, probably. A good move for the future of Marvel characters and the Marvel universe in general? Not, sure.
