New Details About X-Men: First Class
From ‘The Playlist’ comes new information on X-Men: First Class movie. The information comes from an old draft of the movie, probably written by Jamie Moss. The script has been re-written a few times including a recent draft Jane Goldman.
The information so far:
- Magneto (Eric Lensherr played by Michael Fassbender) and Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) travel around saving mutant types. As mutant awareness grows in the public, the more the government tries to surpress mutants.
- The Xavier school is built.
- There is a love triangle between Eric, Charles and Emma Frost ( Alice Eve). Playlist don’t know exactly, but presume this is one of the factors that pulls Xavier and Lensherr apart.
- Xavier and Lensherr are also pulled apart due to their differnces in training mutants.
- We see the transformation of Hank McCoy, from the regular Beast (Nicholas Hoult) to the blue beast – (Kelsey Grammer)
- The script features Cyclops (some key mutants may be missing).
- Apparently some shooting has taken place, but it may just be test footage.
The film also stars Kevin Bacon as the film’s main villain, Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone) as Mystique, Lucas Till as Havoc and Caleb Landry Jones (NBC’s “Friday Night Lights”) as Banshee. Cyclops, Angel, Ice-Man and Jean Grey haven’t been announced yet.
The film comes out on June 3, 2011
